How to delete your Quietide account and its data.

Delete from the app

1. Open Quietide and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings, then Privacy & help.
3. Choose Delete account and review the confirmation.
4. Confirm only when you are ready. This action is permanent.

What is deleted

The account’s reflections, moods, saved recaps, language and reminder preferences, notification installations and sign-in connections are removed. If it is a shared account connected to another service, the shared journal is deleted and its bot reminders stop too.

Copies of recaps you shared and messages already in external chat histories remain with those services. Sign-in identity removal can be delayed by provider availability and is retried after the journal is removed.

Can’t open the app?

Email support@quietide.app with the subject “Quietide account deletion”. Tell us which sign-in method you used and, if applicable, the email address associated with it. We must verify account ownership before deleting anything.

Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, identity documents or journal content. A guest account may be difficult to identify after its device session is lost; contact us before removing the app if possible.

Want a pause instead?

You can turn off reminders or sign out without deleting your journal. Signing out and uninstalling are not account-deletion requests.
